New Reviews For In The Gloaming!!

Coffee Time Romance: 4 cups!!
About Robin's Cap
Fabulous! A spine tingling tale that is sure to raise the hair on your neck. Excellent characters set up the scene for a harrowing tale in a deserted castle. Old folklore comes to life in a nightmare of events that will scare the pants off anyone.

Entire Anthology:
Absolutely Magical! This book is made for those of us who still believe. These enchanting stories are filled with evil, good, fairies, elves and even trolls. All the tales are different but compliment each other well. These authors did an amazing job to keep the stories fresh and unique and no story is the same. These fabulous stories will stay with you for a long time. A phenomenal read.

Review of Robin's Cap by Megan at Bitten By Books:
I really liked this story a lot. I think the plot was well thought out and Robin Red Cap was creepy scary. Graham and Kat played well off of each other and even had some funny moments in between the torture.

Dark Diva Review:
This anthology is a fabulous collection of Faerie stories by Cora Zane, Esmerelda Bishop, K.M. Frontain, Nita Wick & Kelley Heckart.
Each story takes place in a different realm and time period and have equally sexually charged, action packed, engaging plots. Before you know it you’ll be fanning your face from the heat in this book. I really felt that I connected with each of the heroes and heroines in all five tales. All of these authors did a superb job in writing such vivid adventures that I felt I was right there in the middle of it. Whether our modern or historical characters were battling good or evil, they all experienced a happy ending that left me thoroughly satisfied.

In the Gloaming was a quick and enjoyable read, I would recommend this anthology for faerie and non-faerie lovers alike! 5 Delightful Divas.

Cocktail Reviews review In the Gloaming

This is what Cocktail Reviews had to say:

In The Gloaming really is a superior set of tales. I have read many authors and many anthologies, and this is the first one for me where every tale is rich and enthralling in their own right. I turned the page expecting more and found myself deflated that the book had ended. I wanted more, damnit!

Rating: Entire bottle, plus and extra glass:):)

Snow!!

I woke up to snow this morning. They were calling for it, but down here in the south we don't believe meteorologist, lol. This is the first snow we've had in two years. Not much of anything, maybe two inches. Of course, everything is closed, lol. Hubs got a snow day and hopefully they will close my work as well.

Looking forward to taking the kids out in it. They are three and this is the first time they've seen snow. To say the least they are beside themselves, lol.

Since he is home and can keep the kids out of my hair, I plan to use this time wisely. Finish reading the last 220 pages of my historical, last minutes edits, etc.

Then I probably need to do a couple of crits. And I would really like to start on my new story. It is sitting there waiting for me to write it. Edits just seem to be a constant obstacle at this time. sigh

Trying to get serious with the blog again

Been very busy, I am in the final completetion stages of my historical. I have the baby printed out and reading through it with a red pen, highlighter and post it tabs, lol. I know I wrote this thing, but the reality of it did not hit me until I had the thing printed out in it entirety. Let me tell you, 335 pages is A LOT of pages. My husband about died. HE said, "You wrote THAT." I'm like, "Yeah, hard to believe, isn't it?"

Next will be entering the scary word of NY. I carry alot of anxiety about this. I have a fantastic story. No conceit there, it just is what it is. But I know mutiple rejections are in my future. I expect it and I am preparing for it. We shall see.

I've started a new piece titled "The Lesser of Two Evils" Fantastic name, huh? I freakin love it and it fits the story perfectly. This is the first story I have ever written that I had it named BEFORE writing it. Names are not my strong suite, but this just came to me.
Anyway, there is the news that isn't:)

Reviews are in!!!

Dark Diva Reviews reviewed Dream by the Fire

This was a lovely collection of stories. I’d be a perfect treat for when you get home from shopping curl up in front of your computer with some hot coco. All of the 9 stories were wonderful leaving you with the warm feeling that maybe there are such things as Christmas miracles. The over all book gets Five Delightful Divas.
But Just for fun I also rated the individual stories.

Here is what they had to say about my story:
A Love Rewritten
This shows you nothing is written in stone. Gabby is pulled into her favorite romance novel. Something I really wish would happen to me once in a while. She finds the love of her life. I really liked this story it reminded me of the first romance books I read. Warming my mind with a hot Scottish lord. I give it 5 Delightful Divas

A Love Rewritten by Esmerelda Bishop
Waking in an era not her own, Gabrielle Stone is shocked when the hero from her endeared romance novel opens her bedchamber door.
Devlin McCalister is pleased to find his lady love without a memory, perhaps now he will succeed in wooing her.
One woman's love for a novel. One man's love predestined. Will their devotion to each other change a story already written?
